what I've done so far: 

✦ Product Designer at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine

Collaborated in a dynamic team to successfully revamp the user experience (UX) of a website dedicated to visualizing and analyzing multiomic data over 8 months as part of a graduate capstone.

✦ UX Researcher at the University of Maryland, Human-Computer Interaction Lab

Assisted with and led participatory design sessions in an intergenerational design team consisting of adults and elementary school children to design and improve technologies for children.

Also published a paper about the impact of cultural upbringing on a child's participation in the co-design process! 

✦ Teaching Assistant for a graduate level interaction design course

• Lectured on visual design and the techniques to create a cohesive design system and guided students with creating design systems and prototypes for a small-scale mobile application

✦ UI Design Intern at ATLAS Institute, University of Colorado

Co-designed a graphic interface with a team of children to collaboratively control tabletop telepresence robots. Throughout the process, I conducted qualitative data collection and analysis over 3 months, gathering valuable insights from users.
